5 things consuing me this week.
The juicy expressionism of airbrushed tees.
I have been waiting for these to make a huge comeback for a while now. These are iconic, expressive, and perfectly maximalist. I found Fresh Air Shirts, Stephen used to own a shop at Six Flags Magic Mountain. And of course we should thank airbrushed artwork orgins, Hip Hop and the custom car Lowrider culture. Magnificent.
My Pinterest feed is haunted by Fiorucci graphics from the 1980s.
I am guessing you can see why…
Fiorucci, was (is?) an Italian fashion house founded by Elio Fiorucci in 1967. They are known for their iconic vibrant, pop-culture-inspired designs and innovative marketing. No wonder I am taken with the artwork. Fiorucci was one of the first fashion brands to blend art, music, and design, capturing the spirit of the 1970s and 1980s. Why aren’t more people talking about them?
This Parisian couple who commercialized fetishism.
Yva Richard was a Parisian fetish fashion brand founded by Nativa and L. Richard during the early 20th century. The couple were one of the first to proudly parade a bold and provocative aesthetic, by creating high-class fetish wear. Their erotic photographyinfluenced future generations of fetish fashion and art. In fact, they are one of Bettie Page’s biggest inspirations.
Messy Nessy is one of the BEST blogs on the internet. You might know her work best from her famous Instagram feed of people watching in Paris.
Doing a “needs” inventory.
When I feel triggered by anyone I am close to, it’s usually because some inner, undiscovered need isn’t met. Not that we should expect everyone to meet our needs, but I find this Needs Inventory sheet helpful. It’s a language tool to help us discover ourselves.
Famous Pools.

These are so dreamy. I can’t get enough! I have deeply fantasized about each of these pools.
And I made a Pool City playlist for all your hot summer days and nights.
Things that cost money but feed the soul.
Habibi Thing jewelry is the perfect blend of bad ass and scerene. Raf is a old friend & I am having our wedding jewels custom made by her.
Nat Maks marble printed wallpaper/art/home decor. I die.
On The Dance Floor: Spinning Out on Screen book by A24. I am so jealous of whoever got to design this. The forward is by Cher. Need I say more?
Until next week.
